Please note well that our Internet Access plans must be paid in advance.
At the end of each month the service is suspended for all accounts
for which payment has not been received. As soon as payment for the new
month is received, the service is reactivated. To ensure continuity of
service, please ensure that your invoices are paid by the due date.
All of our plans provide;
- Nationwide Access
- Modem speeds upto 56Kbit, depending on the quality of your telephone line,
using either the V90 or KFlex protocol.
- no setup fees
- no setup disks, most computers now have appropriate dialup software
- no helpdesk ( See below )
- one mailbox
( Additional mailboxes can be created as needed or the service may be used
to access existing mailboxes hosted by other organisations or companies. )
- email is scanned for viruses using technology from
ClamAV
- email is checked for Spam (unsolicited email), please read our
Spam Policy
- The "CASUAL" Plan

Unlimited pre-paid hours. Any unused time will be carried forward
at the end of each month. The service will be suspended when the
time online exceeds the hours purchased.

NB: There are no additional charges on your Telecom Account.
These plans are 'Throttle-on-Cap', this means that when the volume
cap is exceeded the line speed will be slowed to approx 56k (about
the same as ordinary dialup).

- Fullspeed/128 UBS DSL Plans

Our fullspeed/128 service has no artifical speed restrictions on download
applied and will provide the best speeds that are possible on your line.
When you are closer to a Telecom exchange and have a good line, speeds in
the order of 4-6Mbit download can be expected. The upload speed is restricted
to a maximum of 128Kbit.
Excess volume charge of $10 per 2 GByte
applies once the traffic associated with your plan is exceeded.

Our unconstrained or fullspeed service has no artifical speed restrictions
applied and will provide the best speeds that are possible on your line.
When you are closer to a Telecom exchange and have a good line, speeds in
the order of 4-6Mbit download and 400-600Kbit upload can be expected.
Excess volume charge of $10 per 2 GByte applies once the traffic associated
with your plan is exceeded.

- NetGuardian

Our NetGuardian Service (optional) provides filtered Web Access.
The service checks all websites against a database and prevents access
to any sites that have been blocked. The database is updated regularly
and includes sites that most people would consider inappropriate. For

- UBS Installation
- The standard installation fee of $99.00 is currently being waived, if you stay
with us for a year. An early disconnection fee of $120 may apply.
- Usage Warnings
- CASUAL plan accounts will be sent a warning by Email when there is
approximately 1 hour of pre-paid time remaining. BLOCK accounts will be sent a
warning when approximately 2 hours of the current block remains. You may
then choose to purchase extra hours online.
If you tend to login for longer periods, we recommend you clear your email
before you disconnect just in case a warning has been sent during your time
online.
- Help Desk
- As we are a ministry rather than a business and have only part time
voluntary staff, our ability to provide a Help Desk is very limited. We will
help when we can but would recommend you do not use our service if you
will require significant assistance setting up and using your Internet Access
connection.
