Spam Policy
Sending
Spam is the term widely used to describe unsolicited email. Such email can
include, but is not restricted, to direct marketing, advertisements, promotional
mail from Porn websites etc. It is probably the largest negative factor with
using the Internet today. It does not include genuine 'opt-in' newsletters
or mailing lists where the recipients have clearly indicated their desire to
receive the email.
We have a zero tolerance to Spam. If you use our services to send out Spam,
it is a contravention of our Terms and Conditions
and will result in your account being closed.
Receiving
We cannot guarantee that you will not receive Spam. In fact you almost
certainly will. We provide a filtering service to keep this to a minimum,
but as fast as we can implement new filtering techniques, the spammers
work out ways to get around them. If you use the email address provided
with your Internet Access someone@godzonemail.net, mail
will be scanned automatically. Email with a high score will be discarded.
Email with a lower score but still believed to be Spam will be marked.
